Greetings all.

Can anyone offer advice on SGU affiliated hospitals (both in NYC and elsewhere) with strong neuroscience electives such as

- Neurology (adult and child)
- Neurosurgery (adult and child)
- Neuroscience Critical Care
- Interventional Neurology
- PM and R

Muchos Gracias.

p.s. Can doing a sub-I in pediatric neurology be considered to fill the pediatric sub-I requirement; opinions thus far have been equivocal.

I just finished my Neurology elective at ACMC in Oakland, very strong program, you will see lots of cool stuff (however, it does not have a neuro residency program, means you get a little more one on one with the attendings though). Whatever you do, do not go to TBHC for Neurology, the good attending up and left and now they're stuck with one of the flakiest docs I've ever met.

A peds neurology elective will fulfill your peds requirement (Note that this requirement is a peds Sub-I OR a peds elective). I will be doing peds surg to fulfill mine....
