i would hope to get some more info on the LA rotations as well. No one in the NY office is willing to dish out any info. maybe mr. woodward has something to say on this...

How/where did any of you guys hear about LOUISIANA???
And, jg4, I'm a bit confused by your post...
If, as you say,
it starts nov 2 or nov 9 the IM rotation there.. apparently its green as well. associated w/ LSU i believe.
then how is it possible that
so far 2 students have done that IM there.. not sure much else.
??????????????
Also, if we have an LSU-affiliated site, then why isn't the hospital listed on the AUA website? (Are there any other hospital sites that we have that are not listed as clinical affiliations?)
And, if we have the site, then why wouldn't anyone in clinicals confirm it (according to earlier posts by tperrin and tt07)?
And why is TB saying we have ob/gyn, but jg4 is saying IM???

It was confirmed by my clinical coordinator. I heard about through Dr.B. I was originally told that I could IM there "early 2010", but that offer was regressed as quickly as it was offered. Sigh.

Glad to hear we've got something in LA.

Too bad about the regression.... Disappointing how often these rotation situations can suddenly cease to exist...
Sigh.

Seems kinda odd that AUA wouldn't have it up on the hospital affiliates list.
(wonder if there are any other new sites that haven't been announced!)

I'm sure you guys got that email about 2 months ago that Neil ***** sent out regarding setting up your own individual clinical rotations. I have a connection at home (in Louisiana) to set up my rotations as soon as I get my step score in.
But rumor ( of course) has it that you can't set up individual rotations, that that particular site has to have seats for other students as well... anyone have any information on this?

This is a very big undertaking to do a website like that. I'm just saying that if you want to make something like this, work your way up. Start with simple websites and add functionality afterwards. This is not a 5 hour website.
