Guys, I was trying to book my flight for Sep, going August 23 and with an open return. I called American Airlines and asked them about a deal with the Ross discount. Anyway, my flight stops at Miami instead of San Juan. The price is 900. I haven't booked it yet, but I was wondering is this a reasonable price? I heard some people getting deals in the 600 ranage for May. Is that b/c of the time of the year or what? Should I go ahead with this deal or wait? any idea?

Where are you coming from? From Oklahoma City laying over in Miami for a night, my ticket price is usually around $750-$800. You can also check other airlines such as Delta that fly to Puerto Rico to see if it's a little cheaper, but you'll definitely have to go AA from San Juan to Dominica since its the only airline that serves the place (and caribbean star).

I am flying from Nashville, TN to Miami. I think that price is a bit too high. However, I just checked Expedia and their prices are terrible: 1700 bucks. what the hell.

The ticket price for a roundtrip ticket from PR to Dominica will usually stay around the same price all the time. From $265-$350. It's the price from your home to San Juan that will change alot. I would just check prices from TN to PR and buy it separately if it's cheaper than AA offers.
