Cable box and cell phone

What type of cable box do we need? We have an old one but how can I check and see if it is the right one?


Same for cell phones. We have a couple of old Nokia's but how will I know if it will work on the island?


Another topic. I am considering waiting to buy a labtop till we get on the island because electronics are cheaper down there. Any tips, or should I just go ahead and get one here this summer?

I saw some laptops on Front street in Philipsburg. Unfortuantely I did not ask the price. For sure, your options will be severely limited if you choose to buy one here. Personaly I chose to get one from Dell before leaving the U.S.

When are you coming to the island? I will gladly check the price & configuration for you next time I go to PBurg.

I am coming in mid August. I am probably going to go ahead and get one here so I can practice using it and fix any problems that might come up. If you do get the chance to find out some prices, please let me know. If there is a big difference I may just take my chances.
