I seriously doubt you're going to find any Canadian interventional cardiologists hanging out on ValueMD.

However, general advice is as follows:

You need to contact each program individually to find out what their requirements are (e.g. do I have to be a Canadian citizen?, do I have to be Royal College trained?, etc. etc.) Typically, one needs to produce one own's funding i.e. these are not, in general, funded positions. Also, this sort of fellowship does not lead to the FRCPSC (Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada).

Why not do it in America? Stanford accepts foreign trained cardiologists. And Stanford is one of the best hospitals and medical schools in the country. Advanced Fellowships - Education - Cardiovascular Medicine - Stanford Medicine (http://cvmedicine.stanford.edu/education/adv_fellowships.html)

Do you plan on returning to India? Because if you stay here, you may not get admission privileges at a hospital, b/c you usually need to get ABIM certified to get privileges.
