Did you use the business mentioned on the welcoming packet or did you purchase a round trip ticket on AA instead?
Also for student visa req, it says you must have a copy of a round-trip ticket. I'm assuming a round-trip ticket is a must?

I'm pretty sure it can be 'open ended' as well, meaning you WILL come back eventually, but the date is 'to be announced.'
At least, that's what I plan on doing.
The packet is driving me crazy
So many things to do!
The ticket can be open ended but it must show that a return has been purchased. The government of St. Kitts does not want to pay for a ticket for you to leave island. While it may not make sense in a lot of cases, it is also permissable to have a continuation ticket. For example, an individual who is coming from Curacao will be going on to Maine for 5th semester, not returning to thier home country. A ticket from Curacao to St. Kitts and continuing to Maine is acceptable. (In this case, the student would need a visa to enter the United States but that is a different issue. The ticket issue would be acceptable to the government of St. Kitts.)

I actually got a ticket via the Austin travels thing in the welcome packet. Since I'm not going home until I finish MD4 in April, I bought a two way ticket from them, and then Austin travels refunded the return ticket to me after I got my visa. So if you aren't going home, this is definitely a way to delay paying for that return flight ticket lol

As a school official, I'm obligated to say that Oiishi's method is not acceptable to the Ministry of National Security in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. The Ministry requires all non-nationals to have a return or continuing ticket at all times.
