Failed ck last month, nbme's put me at 190's, need advice for how to study diff

Failed ck a month ago with a 176, studied no less than 13-15 hrs a day since, nbme's last few days are as follow:

Nbme 1 - 188
nbme 2 - 196
nbme 4 - 186

pushing off my 2nd ck attempt to a month from now but need advice as to what am i not doing right.

My schedule for past 3 months of study:

Uworld - 1st time 53%, 2nd time 64%
did all kaplan bks (except peds), did im twice
first aid (once thoroughly)
secrets twice

what should i do different? Thanks

damn dude you did everything that I did plus more. I think you just got nervous or something. I didn't do extremely good in CK, but I think it was OK compared to step 1. I think you should just aim for 80-85% this time around in UW and watch kaplan videos if available to you. All i can suggest is that when you do your UW, don't look at the answer. First form an answer in your mind and then look down to see if the answer is there. Sometime you can't do that because the answer choices might be totally different, but if you can make a connection from your "formed" answer to answer choices listed, then you're fine. Also, look at wrong answer choices and try to find out why those choices are wrong. This will take lotsa time, but since you've already done UW twice, you might be fast this time around.

my suggestion is to read the kaplan peds book. peds has a good chunk on step2.

Hello i need some serious help and advice. I just got my step 2 ck results and i failed. I sent out my applications to programs for the match and now i'm so screwed. They got my results. I'm applying to Psychiatry. I need to retake my exam....flat broke and lost hope....anybody have any advice on how to pass this test? I got a 65 i did uworld and kaplan books...thinking about step up now...i did the worse in medicine and peds...did really good in Psych...im so down and depressed i feel like my life is over...what do i do? my last rotation is in November...i was supposed to prematch in a program that really liked me in psych...but now after they received my score they said they cant take me...im so sad...any help at all will be so appreciated. Thanks.
