Anyone from NY who is planning to take the NMATs this year...i have the review packet and book as well...i'm planning on going to med school for the upcoming June semester

Heyyy i was thinking about taking the nmats and possibly going to med school in the phil...do you have any advice on where to take the exam in NY? and also are your review books still available?

the nmats are on november 6th in california...that's the only spot and date, you can the nmats...i will be taking it in the Philippines in december...so i am planning to go back mid november...my review books are still available...are you located in ny?

heyyy thanks! i'm not NY, but i'm close - i'm jersey. november seems so close to take the nmats! dang.. still got lots to think about...i'm trying to decide between pharmacy school here in the states or go big and do md in the phils, kinda crazy...lol. my plans really would be having a career in research in the pharmaceutical industry though. my fam is really pushing for school in the phils...so i gotta see still. and most of them are actually saying i should go to the ones in cebu (which i saw in your other posts was a great option).

are you applying here in the states (like through the philippines embassy)...or are you applying when you go back to the phils?

it might be too late to take the nmat in november since the deadline to register is tomorrow (oct 7). your next bet would be to take it in the phils in december.

hey, how did your trip to visit manila med schools go? did they appeal to you more than the ones in cebu? my parents have been suggesting cebu for me since i've had cousins go to med school there, and i also have relatives currently living there as well. still, i'm planning to make my own trip to check out the schools before deciding.

it might be too late to take the nmat in november since the deadline to register is tomorrow (oct 7). your next bet would be to take it in the phils in december.

Actually, the deadline to register has been pushed forward quite a bit. Mr. Vergara sent me an e-mail saying the new deadline to register is November 1st. Of course, that would be cutting it a bit too close for comfort...

ah ok. thanks for the info. as long as the test date didn't change then i'm good. travel arrangements have already been made. haha
