Is it possible to do all green book rotations at SABA? My understanding is that for CA licensure the rotations that need to be greenbook are your cores and family practice.

It is possible to do all "Greenbook by Specialty" rotations. You will have to be flexible and willing to move around during your clerkships.

No, it is NOT true that only cores + FP need to be greenbook for CA licensure. You can do up to 12 weeks of non-greenbook electives. All cores + FP must be greenbook, but then you must have some more greenbook electives. Also, make sure to verify with the CA medical board each and every rotation before you do it. Some rotations that are greenbook by family practice umbrella are NOT ok for CA. The reason why is because the rotation often takes place offsite from the address of the FM residency (i.e. a physician's private office who has admitting privileges at the hospital). CA med board is aware of some of them specifically.
I have checked before doing EVERY rotation and I'm glad I did.
Better to be safe than sorry.
