What is going on with the Library? Yesterday there was no one to run the printer, and all the copies were all over the place. I found myself having to go behind the counter, and search for my copies. The front desk had two people, couldn't they send someone from the front desk to help keep things organized? Secondly, I already see a few computers that were non-functional (either problems with the OS, or the mouse were broken). Things were running so much better a week ago. I guess it is the mini!

heh, thats a normal printer issue. especially the weekend before the mini. There is almost no one around and unless you there to pick the print up as its being printed, chances are you'll a. lose the print out or b. spend a ton of time searching for the print out.

even without the mini, those are normal printing issues
i inquired about how on the weekends there will be two librarians and no one helping with the printing in the computer room. they told me that the computer staff was separate from them and if the computer staff doesn't change over the printers to the one in the front then no one will organize the printing. this semester it may be different. i have a printer now so i am seldomly in the library to print. lol

They're finaly stacking the printouts ON the bench so that they're reachable by students.
Up until yesterday, they would stack the printouts, all nicely arranged, BEHIND the bench so that only tall students could reach them. That means not only did you need someone to get them out of the printer but you also had to have someone there to hand it to you. Sounds like a union.

If you can, Juni, try and bring a printer back from when you go home on the break. It's so much more convenient to have internet at home and just print from there if you need to. Along with a flash drive.

Now that's team spirit!
Without a staffer on duty to do it, students are going behind the printer bench to sort and arrange the printouts.
They sure do pile up.
