It sounds like there are 6 hospitals under the Kingston group in the UK, any advice on which of those are good sites for rotations (all but psyc)?

Avoid Epsom, unless you are hoping to travel (and not actually learn medicine).

I was considering Epsom, can you elaborate more on your post please. I was debating between this hospital and the Queen's Hospital in Ramford.

I'm at Epsom, and am enjoying myself. Some of the rotations are better than others, Paeds and Ob/Gyn are particularly good. Medicine and Surgery and Psych are more dependent on the individual Consultant for the quality of the teaching (some are great, some not so), but there is lots of time for individual studying. And there is an active teaching program at Epsom, with several lectures going on each week, and individual teaching from the teaching fellows (who are hired by the hospital specifically to teach med students). In addition, med students essentially have the run of the hospital, so if you are so inclined, you can always wander down to A&E and clerk patients, or head to theatre and observe surgery.

I've heard good things about Queens too. But Epsom is a MUCH nicer area than Romford. In fact, Epsom is one of the nicest places to live of all the UK sites!

YMMV
