I would watch out for International school of medicine. I contacted the rep in the US and they quoted me a different price than was on the website. When I had asked the rep why the $3850.00 discrepancy, she gave me no answer until 4 days later when I pressed the issue.

She told me that the extra money was the commission they put on top so that they can make money. Also. she had asked me my age and then told me I was too old for the program.

Not to worry since their school is not allowed in California and since most states follow California's lead, then I personally would avoid this school like the plague.

I can understand if the website explains everything in full but to be told that I have to pay almost 4k more, that is out of line. And the comment that got me was "oh, it's only a 1 time fee".

They have an IMED listing which says they opened their doors in 2003.

Their website also seems to mention some miscellaneous fees.

Welcome to ISM... (http://www.ism.edu.kg/fee%20structure.html)

What I don't understand is why they run separate 5 yr and 6 yr english programs aside from the 6 yr russian program. Their 5 yr english program is the only one listed in IMED anyway. The bulk of the students seem to be from India and Pakistan.

If you found their US representative to be corrupt, shouldn't you have complained to the school management first?
