Hope someone can help. I've written e-mails to Dr. Perri and Dr. ********* and haven't received a response yet. To be fair only sent my e-mail to Dr. F a day or two ago.

Wanted to how to go about applying for Step 1. Plan to take it in September (while in Miami) so I assume I have to get the ball rolling now on the application process. Checked out the ECFMG site and details seem a bit fuzzy to me (maybe it's just me). Am I able to apply while still in 4th? What do I have to get the school to do? etc.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Txs.

Canuck2md, you cannot apply for Step 1 while you are still in 4th semester. But do not worry, they university will give you all the instructions and paperwork you need to apply for Step 1 on your first day of classes in 5th semester. In order to sit for step 1, your application requires a University seal so we all have to go through them to apply.

While you are in 5th semester or afterward, you will also get an email assignment clinical advisors to you. These are the people you will need to get in-touch with if you run into any problem. Certain students have problems contacting the NJ office by emailing Dr. Perri only but the best way to get things done is by going through the proper channels. I have not had any problem contacting them probably because I emailed or called my advisor only and not Dr. Perri or anyone else. Best of luck!!
