I am a sophomore this year in college and was wondering whether i should take the calculus-based physics or the algebra-based physics. also i don't know whether i should take calculus II or statistics this semester. i know that calculus II is not required, but i don't know whether it would be useful to me in the long run. thanks!!! :D

I found calc-based physics to be easier to handle than algebra-based physics.

I've found that the Calc II requirement differs from school to school. However, I would take statistics over calc. I took stats and calc II and found that stats has served me better in medicine and research way more than calc II ever did.

Agreed, take algebra based physics. Calculus-based is for physics majors and engineers. Medical schools see no difference. If you don't have to take a harder course, then don't. Adcoms really can't tell whether one course or another was more difficult; your grades are all that matter.
