what are chances of getting a residency placement following mccee.

Canada is an absolutely brutal place to try to get residency as a foreign medical graduate. The numbers are not in your favor (nor are they in mine).

A more likely path would be to write the USMLE steps and apply for the US match. It is challenging to get a residency in the US, as well, but far more likely than Canada at this point in time.
