AUC's website says that a degree can be earned in 9.5 semeseters.
Wouldn't that be an extra 1.5 semesters, compared to a US school?
Whats the extra time for?
Thanks

When you get to clinicals, you're not going by the same timeline that you did in basic sciences with the 3 semesters a year. One rotation might be 12 weeks and another rotation might be a different length.

Thanks. So each clinical is a semester? What about the shorter ones (6 week vs 12)? How about electives?

Howdy,
You will take 9.5 semesters to finish at AUC and here is the schedule. You will spend 5 semesters in Basic Sciences (you hope) and 4.5 in Clinicals. There are 3 semesters per year so theoretically you can finish all 9.5 smesters in less than 4 years. Core clinicals = 42 weeks and Electives = 30 weeks. So 72 weeks of Clinicals not counting the time off between rotations and Christmas ect.......... We straight?
