You don't need an agency. You just have to spend some money contacting (calling) some universities. Also, Philippine educational system is different from Sri Lankan (yours is more like the British system). You go to med school after a Bachelors degree. Some schools like SWU (Southwestern University) has programs of **/MD specifically for foreigners from former Commonwealth countries. I think SLU (st. Louis) in Baguio has a similar program. I'm not sure if there are similar programs in other universities. Just use the internet (Google) to search their contact information. It's better to speak to them directly and learn about the requirements.

I'd heard about St. Louis' program, but I couldn't find a word about it on their website. I called up their Indian office, but the person who answered couldn't give me correct answers. Said she would email them to me but never did. I got the impression that they had separate MD and MBBS programs, the MBBS being specially designed for Indian students. Is this true?

I don't know. RESEARCH THIS MATTER CAREFULLY. I heard CHED is cracking down on MBBS programs from Philippines but that might be a rumor. They are probably having difficulty getting MBBS recognized from there as most international licensing bodies know that you need a B.S./MD program to be a doctor from the Philippines that's why they are trying the accelerated B.S. to MD programs.

Hello!
There is actually very few agents who directly deal with universities in the Philippines specially in South Asian countries. The education system is different. If you are from Srilanka passing O Level then you may do 4years Bachelors Degree in Allied Medical courses then proceed to 4years MD ( Doctor of Medicine) after passing NMAT exam.
OR if you are 10+2 pass / A Level pass from Srilanka you may do the 16months Special / Accelerated ** Biology program leading to 4years MD program.
Please note MBBS program previously launched by one Indian agent have been stopped and replaced with ** - MD Program. Two of the well known universities known to provide the course is SWU in cebu and SLU in Baguio as posted above.
If you want to know more detailed information please PM me. Thanks.
