I'm starting pre-med in september 09 as well. I just got accepted a couple of weeks ago.. so i'm still waiting on a few immigration documents so i'm not sure what's going to happen =(

Xtc86 - I m having problems with immigration papers as well. I read a few forums and they say that we should go there as a tourist and then apply for immigration papers, as they wont be ready till the semester starts. What are your thoughts about it ? I got accepted on 20th aug., very last min. acceptance. I am really rushing thru to get in.

Aslo, did you recieve a contract that you cannot transfer to univ. within 50 mile radius ? cuz that looks scary in a way.

Any kind advice is highly appreciated.

I got accepted some time during the 2nd week of August, so I know exactly how bad it is! I talked to my admissions advisor and she had said the same thing as what has been posted on the forums. She said to enter as a tourist and keep doing the paper work while we are there. So, my plan is to do just that... I'm glad I'm not the only one.. as bad as it sounds... sorry! :$.. And i did not receive a contract saying that.. that's actually very scary! I'm thinking that it won't be that bad though. Hopefully we won't even think about transfering.. so let's keep our fingers crossed =)
