This may sound a bit too paranoid but here it goes:

I noticed that Saba administration has opened MUA, which apparently has not one, but two campus at Nevis and Belize- and yet another medical school on a nearby island is underway.

Knowing that all Caribbean schools are for-profit business sectors, this seems quite aggressive and risky in terms of expansion. The money, time, and effort seem to be not pooling into making the best out of one original institution, but rather spread thin to produce multi sites to accomodate more students and their money.

I'm seriously considering Saba for this September, and the last thing I want to worry about is school closing down in the middle of my degree for financial complications.

Any thoughts?

i dont think you have anything to worry about as far as financial stability is concerned, i am at mua nevis and we were a bit concerned about that when belize opened up but admin knows exactly what its doing. Since belize has opened up we have not had any impact or any lack of resources. The schools will not shut due to lack of finances... they are doing very well.

even though the schools are owned by the same individuals, each school is its own entity and each school financially sustains itself, all the money doesnt go into one big pot to be divided amongst the schools, each school is self sufficient and a separate entity in that sense. saba has its own separate US clinical office staff and mua has its own, these resources are not shared.

that being said.. the only ppl that can reassure you 100% would be admin, call them and discuss your concerns with them.

I don't think SABA will have any problems if ever a financial difficulties come up. They would close MUA first before they shut down SABA, since SABA is much more well established and known (and will sure generate more cash for the school). Don't worried until you see them shutting down MUA belize, then MUA Nevis which I don't think it will happen. I am in MUA Nevis which seems getting enough students.
