NFL and NCAA football. Please tell me there is some way I will be able to get my fix while on the island. Which bar carries the widest selection of games?
I swear, if the Beloved make another run for the Super Bowl, I'll swim back to Chicago.

I feel you dude, I swear i have to watch ESPN everyday... I am a huge Chiefs fan (everyone and their mama in kansas city is anyway) but i need to know that i can see the chiefs games on sunday...
I've got good news and bad news. We do get ESPN and all the major networks so you will get football. The negative side is that we don't get all the games here. Many of the affiliate stations are from the east coast so we sometimes don't see the games that are being played on the west coast.
You will get enough American football to fill the limited amount of recreational time that you'll have.

I'd trust in Hester. If he had the body of a WR, was able to run a route, or was able to catch that mysterious pigskin thing flying through the air. But seriously, all reports say that he's making incredible strides. I mean he has dropped his body fat from around 4%, to 1.5%. Hell, he used to be such a lard butt (really TOS?!?!).
I'm off and on with the Big Ten. Didn't go to any of those schools, but I'll cheer for them during bowl season.

It's not an East Coast bias. It's an against watching horrible football bias. Nobody wants to watch the Chiefs. Especially the Chiefs.
Just kidding, man. I feel your pain.

Yes, the chiefs are horrible but we (kansas citians) still love them nonetheless.. There is not much to do in KC, so football season is like an event.. The city really wakes up during training and season time... I love the Chiefs... no matter how much i bash them, i still sit down on my coach on sunday or go to the stadium to see them play..

Everybody said that moving down here would involve a transition of sorts. What a load of crap. Last night I drank Pepsi, whiskey, threw in a fat dip of Skoal, and watched Bears preseason football.

Not bad at all. We'll see about that run. The Beloved's postseason hopes & dreams seem to rest on the glass knee of Tommie Harris.
