Yes there is a power outage outside campus.
It's 85 degrees farenheit in the library.
I know because I have a thermometer keychain on my backpack.
Feels like over 90F in the computer rooms.
I heard ACs are off all over campus. But the lights are on.
Is this a new cost saving policy for during power outages ?

If what you say is true then it is no different then when in the USA their are power shotages and they ask businesses to turn off the Air Conditioner for short periods of time to allow for other electrical usage.

I don't think its anything to do with saving money. When I was standing outside, I saw a worker hosing down a AC unit and I asked him if something was wrong with it and he confirmed that. Yeah, the classrooms were hot though.

Feels like if the AC is out again in the library. Are there any current power outages?

According to a recent report from the bldg engineer,
they are having problems with the airconditioner units.
So we are to expect on-again-off-again activity.
There are also several more computers in each room than last semester so the extra heat sources can't be helping.
Makes it hard to hang in the computer room as I like.
