I know this has been asked a million times, but does anyone know of a Windsor grad practicing in Texas. It's my understanding that you can practice in Texas if your school isn't disapproved by another state. I don't believe Windsor is disapproved by California. Is residency possible in Texas? And is getting a license possible. It would break my heart to not be able to practice in my home state.

as long as your step scores are 90+ and all your core/electives are greenbook it is possible...although it is still very very difficult to get a residency there
i dont know the specifics of licensing rules for texas but i live in houston and it seems like every other doctor i meet came from out of state/country

Yes, it is both possible to do residency there and to practice in texas.

if you can meet all the requirements on the form j above then you should have no problem getting a residency or license in texas
