Guardias Canceled Due To Swine Flu Scare?

There's a rumor floating around HAL that many of the guardias for this semester will be canceled because of the swine flu. I have heard buzz about this from students and professors. Has anyone talked to any of the decision makers regarding this kind of thing?

Asked around and no one said they'd heard anything. Keeping the radar on though.

By "San Juan" I suppose you mean San Juan de Dios, right? Going to the hospital during your Psych rotation does not really count as Guardias. I'm talking about the 4 weeks you would do during Internal Medicine, of the 8 weeks during 6th semester, or the 5 during 7th semester.

Agreed - but I spoke with people doing their guardias there. Nothing was heard. So I'm posting the info that I have - not that I'm refuting the rumour. It'd be nice to get some time off. We'll see how it goes.
