Wud up,
I'm curious if anyone has any advice on how to set up physician shadowing in NB Canada. I've sent out a bunch of emails but haven't had any luck so if anybody has had success shadowing docs in NB please share your wisdom. Thanks!

So you're from NB and at SABA? How do you like it?

I am from NB and thinking about applying, however, the Canadian residency chances has me worried.

I'd love to get some more info from you about life there/the school/etc...

Wud up dude,
A fellow NBer eh! Saba is without a doubt the most Canadian friendly Carib med school. The Canadians outnumbered the Yanks this semester! As for residency spots back in Canada, we (east coasters) have an excellent shot at coming home for residency compared to the rest of the country. The maritimes are the best spot for an IMG to obtain residency's and clinicals in Canada. Basically it comes down to how hard your going to work for it.
The school itself is great too. The island is kinda boring but your classmates will keep you entertained. I would definitely recommend Saba to a fellow NBer. Maybe I'll see you here someday. Good luck

This way you can email some tips on application and why you chose SABA.

Thanks!

Edit: Posting while drinking results in not what was intended...

^lol...i find that hilllllarious, and not in a cutesy funny way.

you are asking (not even politely asking, but demanding!) the poster on his own thread about shadowing to take the initiative and email YOU his experiences when its obviously who needs the questions answered???

okaaaaaay...

Ha! Thanks mario345! I was thinking it and you said it. Although I don't mind helping out a fellow NBer. As for emailing my experiences I would at least need a specific question to answer because I am a little strapped for time being that I'm in med school and all. Peace out

Sorry, that was not meant to come out like that, and upon reading that again that sounds horrible.

I tried to send a PM but couldn't and I wanted to be able to ask a few questions if I had them, and not post everything here.

I guess what I meant to say was sometime when not super busy if I had some questions might you be able ot answer them?

Thanks again and sorry for that odd response.

Throw me some questions, you should be able to PM now that you're at 5 posts.
