Has anyone rotated at Maryland General Hospital Family Medicine and could give me some feedback with regards to their experience. Also, any suggestions on housing for the six week rotation?

This rotation may not be at Maryland General. You will be assigned to a preceptor and mainly work in his/her office. The preceptor is affiliated with Maryland General but 90% of your time you will be at the office, not the hospital. Most of the preceptor's offices are not in the city of Baltimore, they are in a surrounding suburb which will be a 15-20 minute drive out of the city. Some preceptors are great and take you to the hospital for rounds, and some are not so good and you wont have any hospital time. Hope this helps.

Dr. IR was my preceptor and she was excellent. She has an office in Catonsville (a B'more suburb) and brings you to the hospital where she has priviledges. 2-3 students at her office. I checked my transcrpit yesterday and it lists Maryland General as the rotation site, even though we went to another hospital to round with her. The program there is ACGME approved.
Here is the program:

Maryland general is a participating institution.
