I am getting ready to fill out my financial aid app. Should I put my parents income on there since I lived with them last year or should I not since I will be living on my own at Ross?
Thanks

If you're over 22 or 23 (somewhere around that age), you're not required to put your parents income info on the FAFSA.

the short answer is NO.
here's why:
by usde standards for financial aid purposes, you're considered INDEPENDENT and DON'T need your parents' tax info if you meet ONE of the following criteria:
1. you're over 24
2. you're a ward of the court
3. you're married
4. you're a veteran of the armed forces
5. you're in a graduate or professional program
6. you have a child or dependent who lives with you and depends on your for >50% of their support
