View Full Version : Working Out on Saba
Just wondering what the facilities are like down on the island. I heard there was a gym but the picture of it is small and probably misleading.
What kind of equipment is there, how high do the weights go, etc. ?

The picture isn't misleading, that's definitely the entirety of the weight room.

The gym has been moved to a bigger facility on campus and there are more machines with less crowding.

i used to workout in the old gym...which was hands down the most spare setup i have been forced to live with but i still got to do a good workout everytime in there. And i maintained a 6 pack almost the entire time not to mention a 200 lb plus bench press as well which is the more important thing

Bench press is the ONLY thing....:D
Is there at least enough for squats and deadlifts?

There's equipment to do pretty much anything you need to do. Some of the stuff is probably from the 1970's but there's enough to keep you in shape. The dumbbells go up to 45 then there are a set of 80s and there is a ton of plates of several weights, so make a date and you'll feel great....
