Hi bros and sis,

I need some advices from youguys. I have about 6-8 months to prepare for step 1.
1. How many times should I go over kaplan books?
2. How many times should I go over First Aid?
3. How long does it take (normally) to practice usmle world, of course I want a high score =) ?
4. Should I take Q bank also or just usmle world?
I know it's different from every one and it depends on how focus, how smart I'm, and how much time per day I spend on studyin. But, PLEASE share ur experience and I appreciate all the advice that you put in.
Thanks again

Study SMART vs. Study HARD, if you want to score over 220, with minimal time follow my guide, otherwise, you will study "hard" watch videos and too much notes, which will "fry" you before the exam....Or you can just FOCUS on what is important and clinically relevant !! i.e. Study SMART, don't waste time on 200+ hrs of videos and notes..

For both steps read my past posts:

Since Step 1 is very clinical I took both steps within 1 month of each other and scored over 220 in either:

Essential Books:

First Aid for step 1, and 2ck
Boards and Wards for step 2 & 3
Boards and Wards: PathoPhysiology (step 1)
Kaplan MedEssentials (Step 1)
Then Do lots of Qs: UW / Kaplan / USMLE Rx about 2000Qs and learn from the Qs.

That's all !!

Don't waste too much time memorizing Kaplan Notes, or videos...you will waste at least 2 months of your prep time with those.....Focus on what is important !!

You can do it all in 4-6 weeks of 8-10 hrs per day, 5 days per week EASY !!
