Greetings, I am currently in the process of applying to SABA. My query is how the science GPA calculation determined. Is it done by AMCAS standards where they avg out the Bio, Math, Chem, Phys grades only? Would courses in cognitive neuroscience and toxicology be included, barring the fact they are not listed under "Biology"?

Thank you in advance,

ET

I was wondering if courses like biochem are included in the sciences gpa calculation. also at my school geography and psychology are also offered by the science dept, so would that count as a science course too. any help would be great.

biochem is definitely a science. Geopgraphy and Psychology are sciences but not hard sciences. The science GPS includes things that are related to the following: physics, biology, calculus, chemistry. Any combination thereof is included: ie, biochem, physical chem, biophysics, genetics, toxicology, anatomy, physiology, cell bio, I think you guys get the point neuroscience is tricky, depends on the curriculum

Thank you for the information. Do you perchance know of any resources that deal with this type of information?

If not you, what have other University of Toronto graduates done in the past?

Thank you in advance,
