I Highly recommend the following books for the boards:
That's all I've used for the USMLE Boards and Scored over 200 on each step on first attempt:
First Aid: for Step 1, 2CK and 2CS
Kaplan Qbooks for step 1, 2ck and 2cs
Kaplan Med Essentials for step 1
Boards and Wards for step 2
Crush The Boards for step 2
Lippincot's Pharmacology
USMLE Made Rediculously Simple: Step 1, 2 & Step 3
Exam Masters CD for Step 1, 2CK and Step 3 Qbank (Almost the same as the real exam, very good Qs review over 2000 Q per each step.)
If time is an issue, read First Aid and Kaplan QBook for EACH Step !!
THEN add: for step 1 Kaplan Med Essentials, and for step 2 Boards and Wards.
