i was a med student at auc, and am moving to baltimore to begin residency.
the apt:
-6th ave b/w 6th and 7th streets
-1 br, 1 bath
-2nd floor
-$1360/mo, gas/electricity/cable/internet separate, water included
for someone rotating at methodist, this is a chip shot. a 2 min walk up 7th st. huge bedroom (for ny standards). very comfortable place to live, in an area where every other apt is around $1600-2000/mo. look around, but you wont find anything comparable.
i leave for baltimore on june 15. im looking for someone to move in around that day - will charge $500 for the rest of june (prorated deal). in addition, i am not taking the furniture, so we can negotiate a price to buy.
serious inquiries only, and act quickly. if i dont lock this down in the next 2 days, i'll put it on craigslist. it should take around 1 hour after i post it on craigslist until someone will already have it. just trying to help out a fellow med student.
all in all - a furnished apt right next to a clinical site, with two trains (R, F) equidistant, w/ available furnishings - around 500/mo cheaper than anyplace else.
