Can one apply for more than one university via Ministry of Education if applying for medicine in Romania?

Hi ! no il all cases it will be given only 1 letter of acceptance , and this letter of acceptance doen't warranty a seat (depends on file examination usually)

some faculty do entrance exams , but most of them do file examination ; 2 years ago there was approximativly the asme number of seats than candidates. But now , like everywhere else in estern europe ration goes from 1:3 to 1:10 (bucarest , cluj) , so there is a strong competition
For this reason it's easy to understand that letter doesn't warranty the seat. and I have noticed that usually now ministry MEC doesn't give the letter to propective student if the request is'nt passed directly through the chosen university

Romanian univ have become very attractive due to low tuition and UE recognition. The competition that appeared is a good thing that insures a good level!

Are you going through an agent?
Where are you applying to?

this year , applying through an agent is just a good way to fail getting a seat , UNIV DON'T TREAT ANYMORE WITH AGENTS they give priority to individual application
althrough it is writen in old application files , it is recommanded to apply for acceptance letter through the univ you aim , ministry also now treats indirectly application
and yes, it is possible toapply only for 1 univ , you have to make your choice
I was student in cluj and now the univ is saturated (160 seats in english section , heard about 1000+ applications) , my univ now is Oradea , less known so much more chances to get a seat. but those who apply directly by coming here are accepted in priority , nothing is treated at distance here....

Its seems Univ web site does not say "we have to chose one university".

of course not they don't say, because they just don't care about it , my friends in cluj said that for french section (cf their forum Connexion (http://medcluj.1fr1.net/forum.htm) ) , they already received +1000 applications , and even much more for english section (160 seats)
Ministry is not involved in specific admission procedures , each univ has its own. But at the end they just give only 1 letter of acceptance
now of course cluj and constanta are very famous town for party etc , so most people want to come there , justifying that this year ratio for admission can be 1/10 in some schools.
Do your choice , I personaly don't care now I'm in 3d year and I don't touch 1 penny for advertising my univ (Oradea) , I'm just trying to avoid disappointment for some of you and I realise that beeing less famous (but not less attrative!) , Oradea gives all chances if you apply now (september will be too late cause even here english section will be filled in july)
and be sure that only 1 letter will be delivered , had this info straight from a candidate who was in bucarest for trying to get the letter
I would never give 250€ for giving my files in cluj knwoing that if you don't pay a bribe personaly to the good persons in cluj your files will even not been processed
