If studying in Chinese, Peking University is not bad at all. You can also look into Tsinghua University, which is #1 in the country.

As per my information peking uni does run a course of mbbs in english, however, passing the Hsk examination is a pre requisite to starting the clinical subjects. It does also have MD programs in english.

Peking University is authorized by the Minstiry of Education for teaching medicine in English, but from the latest list provided, it is not on there:
2009/2010?????????????(????)?????????????????? (http://www.eoe.or.kr/publish/portal24/tab1065/info9976.htm)
There are 28 schools on there right now, with two missing - I believe those are Tsinghua University (Peking Union Medical College) and Peking University (Beijing Medical University).

I just checked out the website link above (after removing dots).
The page does not say that the program is offered in English, but rather, that it welcomes international students. I assume that this is referring to the Chinese-taught programs.

The webpage was down for a short period after you posted the link, at least with access from Shanghai.
Still, no where on the page does it say that it offers the program in English; it only says that it welcomes international students (traditionally, international students study in Chinese unless otherwise noted)

thanx a lot for the list .. its really helpful.
Can u do me one last favor by giving me the list of available specializations at Fudan university or perhaps the contact details of a responsive person in the international students department?
Conway

As with most medical degrees in schools worldwide, the first degree is "general", meaning that there is no specialization. Specialization takes place after graduating from this "general" degree, be it residency in the US or postgraduate training in the form of a masters degree here in China, or elsewhere, like the UK or Singapore.

As it so happens, I am about to complete my "general" medical degree and am looking for a school to my residency/masters. Hence, my inquiry about the list of available specializations/masters for post-graduation at Fudan.
Conway

I don't think there are any speciality courses that are taught in English in Fudan. I know there are some that are taught in English at Peking U, according to the government website. I don't have their contact numbers, but you could contact their Foreign Students Office for a start on your search.
