Transfering to SABA

Ugrad: 2.3; MCAT: 35

AUC 1st semester - all passed: histology, anatomy, Biochemistry I
AUC 2nd semester - passed: Physiology, Biochemistry II; failed: immunology

withdrew from AUC for personal/financial reasons in 3rd semester good academic standing with recommendatation letter from dean of students; good LORs from 2 AUC profs. Can get more if required.

chances of transfering to SABA?

I also really really like that saba's tuition is about half AUC tuition - plus SABA is much cheaper island compared to st maarten. Plus, I like the nature-living life-style on SABA (I'm from Utah & very used to living in outdoor activities).

I am Canadian & want to practice in Canada afterwards. But I heard from a friend with similar ugrad/mcat that he didn't even get a saba interview when he first applied to SABA.

so I chose not to try for SABA at all when I was first applying. I hope given the situation I am in, I have a hope for Fall transfer to SABA?

I'm about 100% sure that I can raise my MCAT if it'll help strengthen my application to SABA. is it worth trying? I can even take other courses in ugrad in for 2 semesters & try to strengthen my application that way for SABA if it'll help my chances.

My advice to you guys, please don't waste your time at Saba. They will try to get you to fail. The professors are horrible, the administration is worse, prof's are constantly getting fired/hired and they don't want you to succeed! Take this from someone who has been through it all at Saba. Your grades and Mcat score will get you into AUC or Ross ... why settle for Saba???? Its the worst out there, trust me, you will regret going to Saba. I don't know one person here at Saba who is happy for picking Saba. You will regret it.
