Hi, I have both the kaplan videos along with the lecture notes. The lecure notes are the 2006-2007 edition. Do you think these lecture notes will be good enough, or has the exam changed a lot in the last couple years? Also, will I be ok with just reading through the books, or should I go through the videos as well? The videos are 180 hours, which seems like a long time for certain subjects. 25 hours on anatomy?? Any help would be great. Thanks

The material that you have would be ok for USMLE, but for that you should have good knowledge of the basic science subjects. And there's minor changes in latest materials. Along with kaplan you may need to review other books like BRS, lippincot in order to ace few topics that's hard to follow from Kaplan. And looking at videos along with kaplan lecture books is a good way to undertand the material given in their lecture books. So better watch those videos for understanding purpose. You should also use First Aid at the end in order to review all major concepts that you would have encountered in Kaplan reviews. Also use USMLE WORLD AND KAPLAN QBANK questions and their explanations for learning purpose.
