Im starting a rotation in May in Chicago (with St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital) and was wondering if anyone can give any insight into how the rotation is....Im specifically working with a Dr. McGuire (anyone know how he/she is?) How is the schedule like? What are the hours? Night call shifts, etc...as much advice/details as possible would be greatly appreciated! Also any suggestions a to where to live? Please let me know!
Thanks!

Schedule is chill. I currently have her. There are usually atleast 4 students or so with her at any given time. She has quite a few night calls, infact that is all you do with her, is work w/ her on her call days. She has NO clinic hours at this time, but she is working on getting that taken care of. Advice...she pimps you...so be ready for that. Go to medbeds.com or something like that; they provide you housing. Where to live...well anywhere you think is safe...usually medbeds has students living in most of their housing establishments...so you should be safe most of the time. Hope that helps.
