Info needed about Room Rentals on Saba

Hi Everyone

I wanted to get an estimate as to what are the rentals like for a room on the island, since we need to move out after 1st semester from res.

Also I was wondering how much students tend to spend over a month (including rental + food + other misc expenditures)... again just an estimate. I wanted to know a little bit ahead of time to kind of budget myself.

When should you start looking for places to live off campus if starting may semester?

the best places go very early. In my (extremely biased) opinion, i had one of the best places on the island with a 180 degree view of the ocean, cleaning/laundry service and no charge for filling up of my cistern if/when it went dry and we had to pay the deposit within 2-3 weeks. You can wait and obviously pick something up but in some of the more in demand houses/locations you may want to act asap. In fact, my last semester the incoming first semesters had already checked out my house and putting deposits down a day or two before I landed.
