Hey Guys

I wanted to know if there are students going off to SABA from Toronto for the May 09 semester. Just trying to get in touch with some TO students heading off - talk about preparations, shipping, travel arrangements etc...

I'm also from Toronto and will be staring May 2009. There's a decent amount of Torontonians in our class, I was really impressed! Join the facebook group, if you haven't already!

I'm also from Toronto but heading to Saba for September class. Have you done all your prep stuff and ready for the most challenging but excited journey ahead? :-)

Good to hear from you guys. Actually I was looking for a travel buddy here from TO and meet up some ppl. Facebook sounds like a good idea. I'd check that out.
So you guys bought your ticket yet???? I think Austin travels seem to be giving some student discount I heard...not sure though.
Also is either of you thinking of shipping stuff before hand like in barrels...
What about text books, pre-ordering it or just buy from the Uni bookstore??

Hey guys, I'm from London which is close enough to Toronto I guess. I'm in for May and thinking of flying out from Buffalo because its so much cheaper....

In regards to shipping, does anyone know how expensive it is? Like would it be worth it to ship down a TV or something?

Anyoneone from London to GTA, definately fly out of Buffalo. USAir or JetBlue is $160 to $220 US plus much lower taxes than out of Toronto. :) Buy direct from airline online.

In 1st semester all dorms have TVs. All houses, apartments come furnished and include TVs. Don't ship anything large for 1st semester and you can usually buy used stuff when you arrive.
