do we have to have a round trip ticket or can we buy a one-way. is this a customs requirement. we are just trying to figure out when and if we want to come home.

You need to have a two way ticket for visa purposes. It is a immigration/customs requirement. Good luck !

Its also cheaper to buy a round ticket.

when i came my first time i only had a one way, and then i booked a return ticket later on.

hey mace, did they give you a hard time or was it no big deal. i may not want to leave untill the end of the 5th semester depending on finance.

they gave me no problems at all. the school gets your student visa way before your visitor visa expires. and when you get into St.lucia you can just go to the line for locals/residents and tell the immigration officer your going to spartan and they do the rest .
