true things about agusm

i dont know where to start or to end.....AGU, its a real school, but at the same time everything inside it is a joke and fake...... for example, and that for the new student, or student looking at AGU to transfere to it or join it.... first everything in the school sit is not true, except the academic calender, when school starts and ends.......the site mentions a new campus is being build in a huge peice of land, thats not true, its just to catch students attention.....one huge problem with this school is teachers, now the site mentions a whole punch of profesor and teacher with high degress, maybe they exsist but not in that school, total teacher are 5, beging of semester 3,.....another problem, is there is no loans, or financial aid or any student aid.....now we come to the hugest problem in the school which is, miami, nowthe school says they have a hospital there called larkin hospital.....they had it fr one semester only, but not anymore..now they have clinicals and random places..../.another big problem is clinical, 90% the school dosnt have clinicals.....
just wana say the truth, it hurts but its righ there, ask for any questions....if there is any doubts still can prove it......
but i hope it improve...fell bad for all student in there.....

I slameed this place a while back, but I have found out new info. It is actually a decent school. Like all FMCs, all places have a tough time starting out and some do not make it, but AGU has done ok (much to my surprise from what I heard initially). Also, I would like to warn everybody that when someone post negative comments, look to see if they are newbies. That lends doubts to the true nature of the post.

Well I have gone through the life in the Belize well. There were many difficulties as would be expected in any caribbean country.I found a few student attacked by locals and gone back home.I found maggot in chicken bought from the noodle shop.But now I am in the US and doing clinicals. Without help from the school I would not have gone through to this stage. There may be some delay in the processing and may lag behind , I understand, but we are definitely making progress. All of us have gone through STEP 1 and this is a big success of AGUSM.Forget about maggot, forget about locals . We are trying to become the doctors and we are achieving our goal.All of you will follow us I am sure.

I am a little concerned with truthinfo information that he wrote in the above post. You stated that you attend AGUSM, Well; from the look of the statements and use of your words, I dont think you would be admitted at AGU at all. This is not really about your gramma but its about how you are trying to bring across a message as though you are credible but really at the same time ignorant. Please state your position in this ! What do you really know , what can you prove with papers and information you claim to have ?
This is a forum to give information to all who might need it, so spill the beans if you truly have any to spill so we may be informed.
I Just hope you will come through with your so called truth. I want to have you know, that as a pass student of AGU myself , a current student would not say what you have been saying about their institution. Help us understand why you are even trying to evoke a response!!

To be honest truthinfo . . . toward the beginning of this semester, AGU terminated its dean because he has a substance abuse problem along with other psychotic issues. As retaliation to his termination, he attempted to scare us (the students) with rediculous emails. We are over your tactics and realize you have one student in your pocket who everyone on campus has figured out to be your snake (the one who schemed money from a soon to be relative). You are just posing to be a student at AGU or this is the snake. You do not belong on this forum or at this school. I agree with rastaman . . . . state your position or be gone.

I thought this school was a scam initially, but I was wrong. It appears if one looks at the valuemd site in the past with respect to the first few yrs of most of the schools (especially the newer ones) there is tremendous bashing.

..To all respective medical students, part of the problem is select forum posters such as "medical17" are very indesicive as to what or whom they want to portray, in the above post, "medical17" refers to himself as a grateful yet humble "student", in earlier posts, he or she comes across as a confident imposing school owner/administrator..just look under or do a search for "medical17" posts! you will see what i am alluding to. Please make up your mind sir/madam, with all due respect spend the time fixing the numerous problems and exaggerated website full of "fibs" than to be constanting sugercoating the serious greviaences on the forum.

Who are we? We are students who are very satisfied, completing our clinicals. This could be the reason we know the correct information. It is the likes of someone like you who has limited knowledge of the program and should maybe move on to where you are welcome. I believe if you look at the other posts here, you will see very happy, confident users. You are a newer person to this forum, so maybe you have not had too much experience.

I guess this is...( im not going to even put you on blast) ... I dont understand y you would put my name on here, but watever makes u happy. I guess this is how adminstrators work, spending time patrolling these sites to call out former students name. neways i was only eluding to the fact that when i posted this comment there were no pictures of the skool... and incoming students would like to see them. Every other school has pictures up in there photo album, so y couldnt i add mine??But i really dont have to explain myself and there u go calling out my name! Like wat was your motive? to show that you knew it was me?? if i didnt want u to know who i was i would have changed my username to something else...I knew u would know my username, its the same as my email... im not hiding anything. I am a clinical student of AGU and I am proud to state I am a clinical student of AGU. I have been completing my clinical rotations non-stop in Miami and Orlando, Florida (Orlando Regional for the most part). The professionals within the hospitals have been extremely "foreign medical student friendly" permitting me to network with quality physicians and medical personnel for which I have had the pleasure to work with. This is an important aspect to completing your rotations because the networking you complete now only improves your future success. A small token of advice - unfortunately many of the posts placed on this site are usually written by individuals who for some reason could not uphold the standards and have moved on either to a different school or in some cases nowhere at all. I started with AGU in Belize and, well now - I have my Step One behind me and am completing my last core rotation. I have witnessed the drama which goes on (every school has it), but never was interested in getting involved. Dedicate your time to studying and once you finish your basic sciences in Belize, the clinicals make all of the previous hard work worth it. Transcript issues, this is another myth. As like all of the other schools, AGU will not issue transcripts to you if you owe them money. So TruthInfo, why don't you just suggest to your friend that they pay their tuition instead of trying to make it seem as if it were the school's fault?
