Hi, I am a foreign student studying MBBS in china. My four years of studies is due to fininsh next month. I was wondering if there is any chance of getting a clerkship/preinternship/elective in Hongkong.
Thanks

I attended a talk on Friday here at Fudan's medical campus, where some foreign students shared their experiences on getting electives elsewhere, and there was a student who got electives at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).
I think that you have to get approval from your dean, then apply to the university for electives. (Google information on the two medical schools there - Hong Kong University and Chinese University of Hong Kong) According to what my senior said, it is also free of cost, while going to other countries (such as Singapore, US, etc) costs significantly more. The only cost to you would be living expenses.
I'm not sure about doing ALL clerkships there, if that's available, but I know electives are.
