I think Polish medical schools by far have the most number of international medical students.....but hungary and czech republich are not far too behind.

Was in Ukraine in April 2009 - there are 20+ medical Universities there with 3000+ Indian students and quite a few students from Africa and Arabia.

I saw a few Americans in Ternopil State Medical University. They also have a good nursing school there.

The Medical Univ. in Kiev runs a 6 year medical course in French - so french speaking students must be studying there.

Medical Education in Ukraine is low cost - fees US $ 3000 -4500 p.a.
Hostel will be about 500 to 600 $ a year
Cost of life will be 200 $ a month in most cities. In the large cities the cost of life can go up.
The Course usually takes 6 years after 12 years of schooling.
You do not have to do 4 years of college to be eligible to join medicine in Ukraine.

also - German medical schools have alot of international students
because -- the studying there is cheap .. but the life is expensive .....
