hello i was wondering if anyone could help. basically i failed my finals resit exam in a uk medical school and it seems unlikely that i will be allowed to repeat the exam or the year.
so i was looking to transfer. i have contacted alot of the medical schools in the uk and the responses have been negative or they suggest appling for the graduate programme. i am now looking elsewhere i.e. europe, ireland etc. does anyone know of any medical school that i could possibly transfer to, to either complete the final year or the clinical years?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should get a transcript of all the classes you passed, you should be able to use that to transfer into another medical school. It's probably best to look at czech republic, romania, poland. But, the problem is that romania and poland will need language for the clinicals, however I think czech republic use translators between patients and students.

Phone up the medical schools, tell them you want to transfer and ask if they will take you into 5th year. Its unlikely to find a medical school that will transfer you straight into 6th year.

It's a tough situation, I wish you the best.

Any luck with getting a transfer? I know someone in the same situation who is looking at his options,
thanks.
