Hello All,

Currently, I am a junior in high school and harbor a 3.2GPA. I am planning on applying for the 6-year AS/MD program at AUA but I haven't done too well on 2 classes and was wondering how this would be viewed by the admissions director/committee, these classes include:
-Physics [F-first time, A (once retaken, but still on transcript)]
-AP Chemistry [F]
Other than those two, I am taking just about all AP classes (excluding Spanish) and have a pretty good math background (currently in AP Calc AB).
I was just wondering how, the admissions committee would take this into account.

-And also, When the transcripts are reviewed, are the grades weighted or unweighted when taken in account?

-Feedback from any personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks! :D

hey buddy whats going, I am at AUA right now doing premed 4 modified, by roomate is actually in premed 1, but doing some classes in premed 2 and three cause he got credit for them. I would advice you to go to a US college then consider medicine, cause spending 4 years here would be tough. The only reason my roomate came here was because he did high school in the UK. take care

More feedback? Cesar is absolutely right..Go to a US college..study hard..take the MCAT..get into a US school..and you won't have any of the problems associated with AUA or any carib school. If you don't get into a US med school, THEN consider AUA..
