Australia has no pre-med. Instead they require a under-graduate degree, which can takes a minimum of 3 years, or a college equivalent, and then they make you do a load of tests before they even consider you.
As for legit, Australian qualifications only work in Australia, NZ and South Africa.

At Sint Eustatius, you can do your pre-med along with your basic sciences so you do not have to stay any term longer. However, I highly recommend that you to go to college first and apply for a medical school in Canada or US.

I highly recommend you stay in Canada, singing "Oh Canada...", drink some beer, watch some hocky, and get some Canadian chicks during undergrad years and apply U.S or Canadian medical schools first.

Australia does have some universities that take students straight out of high school(college) but not many.
If you have an Aussie MD you can work in the US but you would still have to sit the USMLE if you wanted to practice in the northern hemisphere so if you come from that end of the world I think you would be better to go to a carib school get the USMLE's and then you can work in Aust.,NZ.
I have worked with a doc who graduated from AUC in NZ she was great.
Also Aust. only have one intake each year and it is 5years of university + residency. Carib is much shorter.
