Is that the new school in St. Vincent?

Yes,
Trinity University School of Medicine is the new school that just opened September 2008 on the island of Saint Vincent...

The Trinity University School of Medicine has enough former students expressing an interest in this matter so as to complete a quorum for a Class Action Lawsuit, and intends to file preliminary motions with the respective court on or about January 20, 2009. Inaugural TUSOM class cohorts may want to explore the possibility of getting involved now. Aformerstudent will recognize their class cohorts email address or name and will respond likewise...

What happened? Did the school close?

Can we ask why your suing Trinity? I thought things were going really well at the school, as their applying for Cali and have some great Profs?

Please understand that certain information is restricted at this point in time to the class cohorts and their attorneys at law

Where have you heard they were applying for California approval? It doesn't make sense for a brand new school to do that and should be questioned and researched closely.

AFORMERSTUDENT:
None of your former students will be joining you in a class action lawsuit. All but 2 students returned to the island to continue achieving their goal of pursing a medical degree. We are all upset that you feel this way about the school and maybe you should contact the administration yourself and resolve your issue.
As for an application to the California Medical Board, we have not received any information as of such application being submitted.
If anyone has any questions about the school please feel free to email me or post questions.
Thank you

I apologize, perhaps I confused the New York accredation with California.

jbdoc12, What is your home address in Texas, we can serve you with a subpena...then you will get your chance to perjure yourself in a court of law.

"AFORMERSTUDENT" unless you tell us WHY you are persuing a lawsuit, I (at least) will find your thread baseless.

med etudiant, your question has already been respectfully answered on 01-07-2009 at 12:31pm. Stop the redundant chatter, get on an aircraft and visit the campus yourself. You have been on this site for more then a year's time, are you just a spectator, or are you going to actually apply to a medical school?

Thank you for answering my question on 01-07-2009 at 12:31pm.

Does it matter if I am a "spectator" or a student? This is an OPEN forum, and I do not need to answer anyone. Understood?;)

I understand that you don't want to discuss you're concerns on this site. I don't however agree with your suggestion that a visit to the campus would implicate the school in any wrong doing. They're a new school. Their campus won't look like SGU's campus. They've had a humble, yet impressive start and from what I've heard they haven't made any empty promises. If they have, than that's a different story.

All the best.

How many plaintiffs do you need for a quorum for a Class Action Lawsuit?

This will the last time that I entertain this topic but from my recollection to perjure myself one must render (oneself) guilty of swearing falsely or of willfully making a false statement under oath or solemn affirmation. Since NO ONE at this school has given a statement to anyone under oath. I invite your subpoena but will allow you to utilize your detective skills at finding my residence.
This school is NOT perfect by any means but they have improved drastically since our exit in December. They are working diligently trying to complete several projects and have listened to the student body and our requests. It is sad that you have not returned to see the improvements. I will also invite you to get on a plane and come and witness what Trinity has accomplished!!!

jbdoc12, Just checked public records, you have no licence for Registered Nurse in the Texas State Board of Nursing online system under your alledged name...is this just another example of your definition of integrity? Third grade already has enough bully boys, intimidation never works, and never will, so try an alternative approach. You have such a wonderful grasp of legal comprehension, maybe there is a career in it somewhere for you. You have our telephone numbers and email addresses, so direct contact instead of posting to your former class cohorts. After all, they got the notion of a class action lawsuit after a discussion with jbdoc12 one day while on campus. Plenty of attempts are being made to smear this posting, however not a single one of these folks will make an official statement to the courts in person, what are you trying so hard to hide and cover-up about TUSOM and yourselves? The truth about our first semester?
Have a nice day and a wonderful life. Good Bye! :)

This post is such a joke. And I would be more than happy to come to court to back that statement up . And I think the fact that the person that started this forum has started attacking the other posters is more than a testament to how stupid it has become.

I was very happy with my first semester here at the school. There is nothing to hide about it whatsoever. As jbdoc12 had mentioned, the school is not perfect by any means. But it IS a new school just starting out. I stand firmly by this school and have a lot of faith in it to succeed. So anyone having any questions or concerns feel free to contact me via thread posts or email and I will be more than happy to share my experiences and happiness with the way the school is. Everyone have a wonderful day. :D

Does this have anything to do with how dangerous St. Vincent is? I know when I was on St. Vincent that there were several students (during our 4 brief months on the island) robbed, sexually assaulted, held up/held hostage. A lot of students were living in constant fear by the end.

Is there anyone from the TUSOM administration that could respond to these posts/accusations?

I have only heard good things about the medical school as well and I commend them for accomplishing as much as they have. Nevertheless I would like to know what it was that progressed to the point where a law suit was filed or if this accusation is even valid.

Interesting to find out who will assume jurisdiction on the case.
