Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Elective

Just a heads up for those interested in being a psychiatrist. I'm completing a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry sub-internship at Dartmouth Medical School in New Hampshire, and it may be very possible for others to do the same rotation in the future. Very good rotation, great teaching, lots of opportunity for autonomy in seeing kids in acute inpatient and also outpatient settings. Just PM me if you need more info about this 4th year rotation.

Who did you contact to set this elective up? This is the field I am hoping to go into so this would be a GREAT rotation. Thanks for the info!

Again, please PM me for more detailed information if you are a Saba student that has completed or about to complete IM and psychiatry and interested in this rotation. A lack of tact would likely mess it up the opportunity for Saba students. I just want to impress that fact upon people.

there's a child protective services elective that is pretty good through Cook County in Chicago that might also be complimentary to someone interested in psych, peds, or child psych.
