I know they have 3 semesters/year at Saba, but are you required to attend all 3 every year? If not, how many people actually take one semester off? Are there any benefits to taking time off or not?

Generally, students must attend all 3 semesters in the given year with the exception of a special circumstance, like a family emergency. The program is designed to get you off the island in 5 semesters, a total of 20 months, with the only breaks being those between semesters - two 2 week breaks and one 3 week break at Christmas.

Nice nice..thanks for the info. I was contemplating possibly taking summers off to work at home, and was torn between that and doing it all in 20 months straight. At least I know I won't have to make that decision!
