Hello,

If you are considering the purchase of one of the recently released Macbooks, please read this review (http://gizmodo.com/5063492/macbook-and-macbook-pro-dual-review) first. It's a very good comparison between the new Mabook and Macbook Pro, and while they are both quite good, there are some potential issues with the display on the Macbook.

Travis! Thanks for the link! I was thinking of purchasing a Macbook and this review helped in my decision. I have since decided against one because I don't believe the price justifies the features. I mean come on, no firewire port? I wish Apple had lowered the price for this laptop because at $1,000 it would smoke the competition for sure!
