needs advice and help, urgent

hi everyone:

I am new to this forum. I just want to get some advice. I took the Nbme form 4 last month, I only got 184. 2 days ago I took the usmleworld self assessment test form 1, I got 219. I am taking the exam on 28 (tues). I just want to know if I have any chance to pass the step one. I am so lost now b/c those 2 scores are so different. In addition, I am planning to take the Nbme form 3 again on this sunday. Can anyone please give me some advice? thanks for ur time.

I think that increasing your score from 184 to 219 is awesome. Whats the problem? The scores are different b/c they were taken a month a part. Thats a good thing that ur score increased and didnt remain the same. Good luck on ur exam next week.

Like previous post said, you are improving. Most recent posts that I have read indicating that NBME 6 is within one point of the real thing. So you may wanna consider that. In addition, if you wanna take any additional NBME, you should take it as far away from the exam as possible. Otherwise it may scare you or give you a sense of over confidence. You may want to look at the result analysis and study accordingly. Good luck and keep in mind that these inputs are from someone who has not taken the exam yet. :)
